Retention & deletion
- When you delete a document, it’s removed from your account immediately.
- We keep it for up to 30 days in a recovery window (in case of accidents), then permanently delete it.

Your documents are processed solely to provide the KlarDocs service — analysis, OCR, and search. They are not used for advertising purposes. We rely on third-party AI providers for processing, and we encourage you to review their data handling practices as well.
Only you can access your documents and analysis results through your authenticated account. Our engineering team has limited, audited access for operational purposes only. We follow least-privilege principles.
Yes. You can delete individual documents or your entire account. Deleted data enters a 30-day safety window before permanent deletion. We are working on a full data export feature.
